advertising logos..

This is the logo for General Electric, or GE. I feel that the logo is simple and to the point. It has the "GE" in the center of the logo and whenever someone sees that logo, they automatically know that its for GE. It is not a logo that is targeted for one specific race or gender, which is what makes it such a good logo.

This is clearly the logo for Hershey's Chocolate. I like this logo because of the fact that it actually looks like a Hershey's bar. It makes it noticeable right away and it is really impossible to mistake it for something different.

This is one of the logos used for the PBS children's station. This is an effective logo because it is a bright logo, so it attracts attention to the viewers. I also like it because it does not just target boys or girls, it targets both genders with the faces of a little boy and girl in the logo.

The American Red Cross logo is very simple, yet you cannot mistake it for something different. The red cross in the logo automatically makes you think of the American Red Cross, even if the words "American Red Cross" were not written next to the cross.

The Flintstones logo is a fun and interesting logo. It looks like it was carved from rocks, which is creative in the fact that the Flintstones take place in that era. The bright orange makes it stand out and sort of "pop."
